Back to School Camps: August 2025
In addition to PrimeTime and SAY, Birney families have a third option for after-school care during the first three weeks of school with two on-campus camps: Soccer (Grades 1–5) and Art, Junior Design & Engineering (TK–5). Camps are outdoors, offer flexible signup by day or week, and align with Birney’s dismissal schedule.
Camp end times have been aligned to provide a consistent pickup schedule week-to-week throughout August and into the After School Enrichment (ASE) session starting September 2. The ASE schedule and registration is coming soon.
Camp Pickup times:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 4:40pm
Wednesday: 3:40pm
⚠️ Take note: the first week of school has a special schedule
Week of August 11–15:
TK & Kinder: early release at 1:15pm all week
Grades 1–5: early release Mon–Wed only
Weeks of August 18–22 and 25–29:
Regular schedule for all: dismissal at 3:15pm all week except Wednesdays at 1:15pm
Coordinated by our After School Enrichment (ASE) committee, Birney offers optional on-campus camps during:
The first 3 weeks of school before ASE classes begin
During fall caregiver-teacher conference weeks, when school dismisses early at 1:15pm, typically for one week in November
During spring caregiver-teacher conferences, when school dismisses early at 1:15pm on three consecutive days in March.
